Ouch! ???? I tried so hard!
Yeah I know hurts a lot lol ???? But like everything else in pole it will get better with repetition and you won’t even feel it
Hi,
I find when I go to do the teddy variations with the crossed legs (straight or bent) that my hips slip off the pole. Any tips?
It will slip, because the body rotates to the side… It is a lot harder , but you just need to squeeze double with that arm. I find that moving slowly helps me stay on the pole
Thank you! I will try that 🙂
I find the same, my body moves to the other side of the pole and I slip! For now i am practising tucking up and feeling the squeeze!!
Great idea! Thanks 🙂
Really enjoying this..I am marking the lessons complete but some are not showing marked….that’s my sad laptop..not ,me being lazy..thanks for this and very happy to be here.x
That’s great to hear!!!! Keep at it ????
I just figured out for the cross leg variation, if I do not go into a straddle teddy but straight into the variation I do not slip as much. As soon as I do teddy straddle and try to bring my legs together that’s when I was losing my hip grip. 🙂
Oh I love this! Thank you!
Note to self: Figure out correct positioning of the inside hand on the inside thigh and leg-opening angle so that inside bicep doesn’t slip off the pole. iTac really helps. Body should be more strongly ‘in front of’ pole than expected.
I did it!!!!! My arms are going to fall off, but I got it!!!! (Insert happy dance)
